Ingwe provides members with a range of quality plans, which are unique to their
healthcare needs and allows them to control their expenditure. Ingwe medical aid
scheme’s product range includes solutions suitable for members with varying needs
and budgets.
Ingwe Health has 5 medical aid options available:
Pioneer Option
This is an extremely affordable option that offers R200,000 private hospitalisation
at select facilities and benefit cover for certain out-of-hospital medicines and
services.
Hospital Plus Option
This option is similar to the Pioneer Option, but provides hospitalization at all
facilities and allows members to choose between network providers and their own
providers for certain out-of-hospital needs.
Capitation Option
This is Ingwe
medical aid scheme’s cost effective
option that takes advantage of tax subsidies.
Medicare Option
The Medicare option provides unrestricted access at either CareCross or Medicross'
network providers forall day-to-day healthcare services. Specialist consultations
and treatments are available via additional cover.
Classic Option
This plan is for families who need comprehensive medical cover both in and out of
hospital combined with the option to choose any healthcare provider. Ingwe Health’s
Classic option also provides for extensive out-of-hospital benefits.
